On April 28, 2023, the world mourned as they said goodbye to a brave and dedicated officer, WPC Yvonne Fletcher. Her funeral was held at St. Mary’s Church in central London, where she served as a police constable. The church was filled with hundreds of people who came to pay their respects and celebrate her life.
The funeral ceremony was a poignant reminder of the sacrifice made by WPC Yvonne Fletcher. One woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “She was a true hero, and we will never forget her. She will always be remembered for her bravery and kindness.”
